News Still have wings!04-09-2010 13:26 One of my songs "One Flight of the Dove", cowritten with Janice Hopkins, has been nominated for "Best of SongU". This is my 5th nomination in about a year, and it means extended exposure for publishers and songpluggers in the US. We are very excited about this song, currently in the demo process, and we hope for a finished demo soon! It's has now been released on Marc Blackwells brand new solo album "Bad Horizon". You can listen to the album and the song here. My new song "On The Line", a co-write with Janice Hopkins, has been placed into the Best of SongU category.
This is the third song that'll get extended exposure to the publishers and songpluggers associated with SongU. I will be producing the demo this time,with my new collaborator Signe Jakobsen featured on vocals. New Nomination!31-10-2009 17:46 My new song "Now That You're Gone" cowritten with Nashville ace James Breedwell, has been nominated for "Best of SongU.com". This is my second nomination this month!
The song is currently in progress, and the demo will be finished soon. It has been tested with audiences in Nashville, and the response has been great!
We've already had interest from artists to record this song, so we are really excited how it will turn out.
New Song in progress!01-10-2009 14:18 One of my new songs in progress "Good luck with that" (Hopkins, Rieck, Kolstad) has been nominated for Best of SongU by a very succesful publisher who've listened to it.
The nomination means that the song will be exposed to publishers and songpluggers in Nashville and elsewhere. So we are now in the process of making a proper demo.
I am really excited about this song, coming from a new collaboration Janice and I had with Steve 'Gus' Rieck. Look out!
